Speech-Language Therapy

  • Therapy sessions will be customized for each individual client centered around the individual’s abilities, needs, wants, goals and the outcome of the evaluation.
  • It is usually delivered on a one-to-one basis, although group therapy may be appropriate in certain circumstances.
  • It will be provided in a comfortable and trusting environment and will utilize a broad range of therapy styles and techniques.
  • With parents / care givers present; parents / care givers are actively encouraged to observe therapy sessions to ensure continuity between therapy sessions and work done at home.
  • A basic session is 45 minutes. A session can also be deemed for 2, 3, 4 times or more per week if needed.
  • The number of therapy sessions your child requires will depend on their individual needs.

Occupational Therapy

  • Occupational therapy (OT) treatment focuses on helping people with a physical, sensory, or cognitive disability be as independent as possible in all areas of their lives. OT can help kids with various needs improve their cognitive, physical, sensory, fine motor and gross motor skills and enhance their self-esteem and sense of accomplishment, also OT work on social and environmental factors that can affect functioning in different way.

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy aims to help and treat children with physical problems as well as providing support to their families and careers.
Physical Therapists support children who have difficulty with movement and treat short and long-term conditions that impact on physical development, activity and their ability to participate in play learning and socializing.

Group Therapy

Social Skills

We offer social skills group to enhance pragmatics (social use of language), symbolic play, cooperative play, and concentration. Children are grouped based on their age, their cognitive skills, their language use, and their individual needs of social skills.

School Readiness

School readiness groups are aimed for children entering Kindergarten to Year 7 in the upcoming school year who are looking at further developing their skills and confidence necessary for performance in their upcoming school year.
Skills taught will be dependent on your child’s year group and will range from letter formations and knowledge, spelling, copying and reading techniques and development of independent writing skills.

Review/Monitoring Sessions

Review/monitoring sessions are sessions that are meant to only review or reassess a client to determine best therapeutic option or update a therapeutic plan or monitor a client’s performance.

Contract Services and Other Services

Contract Seeds of Hope Center assists schools, nursing homes, other home care agencies and hospitals with their speech therapy staffing needs.

Screening Program: This service entails having preschool aged children undergo a hearing and speech-language screening to provide children with the best learning opportunities and protect them from the multiple risks of speech, language and communication impairment.

Learning Support- Shadow Teacher: Learning support service includes a trained teacher to accompany the child into the school setting. This support teacher will be for children who are attending the mainstream setting. The teacher will be committed and trained to help the child maximize his/her potential throughout the academic year. Systematic prompting and reinforcement are used to support students in their classroom environment to ensure successful learning in cognitive, social-emotional, communicative, and adaptive domains.

Tele-Practice: therapy over the computer/tablet with one of the assigned therapists via Skype or any video-call software. The therapist will be guiding every step. This service is usually offered option for those who can’t leave their home or country for certain circumstances.
